This year, the Popular Music Festival took place on December 6 at the Steinway Piano Gallery San Diego. We would like to congratulate all 25 participants who shared their music with us. We would also like to thank all teachers, families and friends who came to support these young performers.
We would like to express our appreciation to our esteemed judges Yuko Maruyama and Taylor Smith who wrote comments and suggestions which will be sent via email to the teachers. Each student was awarded with a certificate and medal at the end of each recital.
Event co-chairs Chutaphin Yeager and Jim Guerin wish to extend their gratitude to the volunteers: Irina Bessonova, Valeria Kravchenko and Devon Samo. Your help was very valuable.
